Nutella Cookies

Yes, Nutella cookies.  I know, it’s a simple marriage of two wonderful and delicious things to make something oh so yummy and good!  I’d like to say I came up with this on my own.  I did not.  However, I did make some alterations!  So, if you want the original recipe  you and find it here.  Otherwise…. drool at the photo and consult my recipe below!  Enjoy! (it’ll keep you from simply eating the entire jar of Nutella with a spoon!)

  • !/2 cup butter at room temp
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 2.5 T milk
  • 2 cups flour… i used white whole wheat
  • 1 t. soda
  • 1.3 cup chopped chocolate chips or mini morsels.

Per usual, cream the butter and sugar.  Then add your egg and incorporate.  Then, add milk and vanilla, and mix.  Finally, add your Nutella, and mix well.  Then, i like to add the baking soda.  After mixing that in, I add the flour a little at a time, and make sure it’s good an incorporated.  Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
I would recommend chilling your batter for half an hour, or twenty minutes, or five, whatever you can stand really.  Drop rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheet…. or use your cookies scoop like me (who wishes I could find a half an inch one so my cookies were smaller)  Bake for about 11 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cool on the pan for four minutes, then move to a wire cooling rack.

This cookies were chewy and delicious!  Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

  1. Glad you enjoyed the cookies!! If you’re looking for the PERFECT scoop, mine is Pampered Chef. I’ve bought cheap ones in the past that literally broke the DAY I bought them, but I’ve had the Pampered Chef ones for years now, and they are fabulous. I really can’t rave enough about these scoops. My cousin is a PC rep, here’s the scoop if you’re interested in buying!

    1. HA! I am planning a Pampered Chef party next month, and one of the things on my list is their scoop!!! I’d just love to make smaller cookies 🙂

I DID love the nutella cookies. I went back to the original post where you got your inspiration from…. that recipe just didn’t look right!
