Thoughts…

I read John 10:10 today…. among other things.  And, I was struck freshly by the contrast, and the promise.

“The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”  –John 10:10, NIV

The first thing that hit me is about the contrast between Jesus and Satan.  Satan came to take from us, to destroy our lives.  And, Jesus came to give us life!  It’s so simple, but is hitting me at the core today!  I worry so much about what is going to happen in this circumstance or that….I have fear of the unknown of our life.

that’s where the promise comes in, and the fact that we are going to have life to the full.  I am certain this means in the here and now…. and most definitely in eternity.  I felt God speaking so softly to my heart today that this is only the beginning.  I am so excited to see life unfold 🙂
